CEP Applauds Secretary Kerry for Declaration of ISIS Genocide

Following is a statement from the Counter Extremism Project on ISIS and genocide

“CEP applauds Secretary of State John Kerry’s declaration today that the Islamic State (ISIS) is responsible for genocide against groups in areas under its control, including Yezidis, Christians, and Shia Muslims. We hope today’s announcement is followed by a heightened level of concern and translates into sustained and concentrated action to stop a continuing human catastrophe. CEP has been clear since its inception about the threat to peaceful co-existence, tolerance, and human rights that ISIS represents.”

One year on, antisemitic incidents have increased by record numbers.
