Please note that the 12:00 PM panel “Reforming In-Prison and Post-Release Programming for Violent Extremism-Related Offenders” will not be livestreamed or recorded. In-person attendance is required for that portion of the program.

This event is part of CEP’s Alternative Pathways program, an in-community reentry and recidivism reduction initiative focused on those susceptible to radicalization in prison or those convicted of terrorism-related offenses. CEP also established the Radicalization, Rehabilitation, Reintegration, and Recidivism Network (4R Network)—a hub for those directly or indirectly involved in extremist offender reintegration and recidivism reduction in the United States.

The Alternative Pathways project is funded by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, opportunity number DHS-21-TTP-132-00-01.

Extremists: Their Words. Their Actions.

Fact:

On October 7, 2023, Hamas invaded southern Israel where, in the space of eight hours, hundreds of armed terrorists perpetrated mass crimes of brutality, rape, and torture against men, women and children. In the biggest attack on Jewish life in a single day since the Holocaust, 1,200 were killed, and 251 were taken hostage into Gaza—where 101 remain. One year on, antisemitic incidents have increased by record numbers.
