“This week, the soldiers of the Caliphate in Khorasan Province assassinated one of the leaders of the political party called the Assembly of Islamic Clerics in the Waziristan border area with Afghanistan. In details, with the grace of God Almighty, the soldiers of the Caliphate targeted on Thursday 7 Dhu al-Hijjah a prominent leader in the apostate political party Assembly of Islamic Clerics, in the town of Wana in the Waziristan region of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, with machine guns, which led to his death, praise be to God.”

• June 18: Pro-ISIS post on Telegram claiming a leader in the Pakistani political party Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (Assembly of Islamic Clerics) was killed in Waziristan. ISIS later claimed credit for the murder via an Amaq claim of responsibility.

• June 24: Pro-ISIS post on Telegram stating that an unidentified explosion occurred in Kabul.

• June 26: Pro-ISIS post on Telegram stating that Hazaras have fled to the cities of Najaf and Karbala in Iraq because of terrorist attacks targeting them in Afghanistan.

• June 18: ISIS claims to have killed a leader of the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam political party in Waziristan.

“Khorasan Province. By the grace of God Almighty, the soldiers of the Caliphate targeted a leader in the apostate political party Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam in the town of Wana in the Waziristan region of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa last Thursday with machine guns, which led to his death from his wounds, and praise be to God.”
