On September 5, 2021, a suicide bomber targeted a security checkpoint manned by the paramilitary Frontier Corps in Balochistan province’s capital Quetta, killing at least three and wounding 15 others. Tehrik-iTaliban Pakistan (TTP) claimed responsibility.

On September 1, 2021, gunmen abducted 73 students in Zamfara, northwestern Nigeria, one in a string of such kidnappings. The captors released the children on September 13, following a military crackdown in the region.
We are the ones ruling Afghanistan, so how come we do not see al-Qaeda…? This is an attempt to tarnish our reputation. No one has hard irrefutable proof that al-Qaeda or other militant groups are present on Afghan soil.
Fact:
On August 30, 2021, a convoy of 300 Taliban fighters entered Khidr district and killed at least 11 former members of the Afghan National Security Forces (ANSF). The victims all belonged to the Hazara community, an ethnic minority that has been subjected to oppression and violence from the Taliban for decades.

Fact:
On August 28, 2022, ISIS militants attacked a group of shepherds in the Laylan district of Kirkuk, Iraq. The assailants killed one person and injured another, and at least one ISIS member died.
