On February 5, 2020, militants ambushed Indian security forces in Lawaypora, Jammu, and Kashmir, killing one. The attackers were reportedly affiliated with Hizbul Mujahideen, Lashkar-e-Taiba, and ISIS in Jammu and Kashmir.

On February 4, 2019, a car bombing at a shopping mall in the Somali capital, Mogadishu, killed 11 people and injured 10 others. Al-Shabaab claimed responsibility for the attack.

On February 2, 2020, Sudesh Amman, a convicted terrorist offender out on early-release, stabbed and injured three people in Streatham, London. Amman was wearing a fake suicide vest and was shot dead by police. ISIS claimed the attack the following day.

On January 31, 2021, ISIS militants kidnapped two local female officials from their homes in al-Dashisha, Syria. The decapitated bodies of the two women were found hours later.

On January 27, 2019, two bombs exploded during Sunday mass at the Our Lady of Mount Carmel Cathedral in Jolo, Sulu, Philippines. At least 23 people died and more than 100 were wounded. The attack, which authorities blamed on the Abu Sayyaf Group, was later claimed by ISIS.

On January 27, 2015, ISIS militants detonated a bomb outside of the Corinthia Hotel in Tripoli, Libya, instantly killing three guards. The assailants rushed into the hotel, took hostages, and fired at employees and guests, killing 10 civilians.

On May 8, 2019, Taliban insurgents detonated an explosive-laden vehicle and then broke into American NGO Counterpart International’s offices in Kabul. At least seven people were killed and 24 were injured.
