CEP x Nobody's Listening VR | Short Overview

The Counter Extremism Project (CEP) has partnered with Nobody's Listening, a groundbreaking virtual reality (VR) experience & exhibition by Yazda and Upstream to commemorate the Yazidi Genocide and inspire action to help communities across Iraq . 

On November 3, 2022, CEP and Nobody's Listening launched the school program, which aims to teach students in London about the Yazidi genocide by ISIS. It is the first time that VR is being used as a tool to prevent extremism and genocide.

In this video, participants discussed the immersive, virtual reality experience and how it can be used for education and fostering empathy.

On November 3, 2022, CEP and Nobody's Listening launched the school program, which aims to teach students in London about the Yazidi genocide by ISIS. It is the first time that VR is being used as a tool to prevent extremism and genocide. 

In this video, participants discussed its application in schools, with youth, and educating the public.
